Eating is fundamental to human life. Tofu stands out as the most familiar natural food that is deeply rooted in our lifestyle. Today, when food safety is being debated more than ever before and a hot topic in society, companies associated with food have shouldered a heavy responsibility. As a manufacturer of tofu processing equipment, SOEI is insistent on three things in delivering safety- assured and delicious food to consumers through our direct customers -the tofu processors.

~Energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment~
We are promoting environmentally friendly and energy-saving equipment. For example, in fried tofu production line, the use of a heat exchange type fryer has improved energy efficiency by more than 40% compared to the conventional direct fire, reducing running costs, saving energy, and reducing CO2 emissions.
Message from the President
SOEI has been involved in processing machinery for tofu and abura-age (sliced and fried tofu) since we were f irst established.
Tofu and abura-age are made from soybeans, considered “the meat of the f ields.”As machines that produce these healthy foods, our products are contributing to people’s health.
We were also the first in the industry to develop continuous processing equipment for tofu and abura-age, which had previously mainly been hand-produced in a molding box. This saved labor and enabled mass processing, reducing the heavy workload and enabling tofu and abura-age to compete with other foods on supply. I believe that this has contributed, in our own way, to affluent and healthy lives.
I believe that SOEI’s mission is to play a role in Japan’s world-class food culture by refining our machinery to produce these healthy foods and popularizing them in society. We will continue striving to contribute to society in this way.
